In class, we met with the Griff Magazine team to re-design their monthly magazine as if we were the current designers on the team. One of the most essential parts they valued was that we designed the magazine to represent our personality and display what would make us more intrigued to read the magazine, as well as other students at MacEwan University.

Since The Griff is already quite a 'downtown' aesthetic through its branding, I wanted to add to it with how I picture downtown, through concerts, music festivals, dancing, and bright and fun energy.

The outcome of "Life is Boring, Without the Arts" is a publication that highlights the various fields within the creative arts and different experiences of individuals and groups working in the industry. This publication was designed to showcase what a high school student’s future could look like if they continue their passion in the arts, highlighting the professional and exciting values of the arts.
